Advantage Oil and Gas Ltd. , which fell more than 2 per cent and hit year lows on Monday, announced that it has entered into natural gas commodity hedges that will reduce cash flow volatility during 2012 and provide downside price protection especially if North American natural gas storage levels continue to grow during this period of extreme supply and demand imbalance. The total natural gas volumes hedged as of July 2012 represent approximately 51 per cent of its current corporate production, net of royalties.



Augusta Resource Corporation announced that the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has issued the Aquifer Protection Permit for its Rosemont Copper project. Rosemont has now received six major permits required to commence construction.



PetroMagdalena Energy Corp. filed its 2011 year end results and announced increases in revenues, netbacks and oil reserves.

Marathon Gold Corporation , which edged closer to a year low 69 cents yesterday, announced the results of eight new drill holes from the 2012 drilling campaign at the Leprechaun Gold Deposit in Valentine Lake, Newfoundland. It said step-out drilling down-dip on the main zone at the Leprechaun Gold Deposit continues to intersect multiple intervals of high-grade gold.



Sylogist Ltd. , a provider of technology based IP solutions that dropped 3 per cent on Monday, announced that effective April 10, 2012 it has graduated from Tier 2 to Tier 1 status on the TSX Venture Exchange. Tier 1 is the Exchange's premier Tier, reserved for its most advanced issuers with significant financial resources.



Plata Latina , a Canadian silver exploration company with a focus on Mexico, completed a $3.45-million IPO and begins trading on the TSX-V on April 11.
