OceanaGold Corporation announced the initial results from a drilling program at the Blackwater high grade gold project located in the Reefton Goldfield in South Island, New Zealand.



PMI Gold Corporation says it has generated several significant new oxide gold targets from its maiden Aircore drilling program at the Kaniago Prospect, located near its Obotan Gold Project in south-west Ghana. PMI has a feasibility study underway on a new gold mining operation there.



PetroNova Inc. reported a net loss for the three months ended Dec. 2011 of $1.38-million compared to a net loss of $2.39-million a year earlier. The company also announced that its board of directors has elected Anthony Lambert as chair, effective immediately.



Scott's Real Estate Investment Trust announced a $5-million increase in firm capital loan, a leasing update, the adoption of a unit ownership policy for its trustees, future changes to external management agreements and its April 2012 distribution.



Novik Inc. , which rose 17 per cent to near a year high 38 cents on Thursday, announced that it expects to attain record first-quarter sales of $5.4-million, representing growth of 19 per cent over sales of $4.5-million recorded in the first quarter of 2011. Novik also expects first-quarter 2012 results to show year-over-year improvement in margins and profitability.

Eurotin Inc. today announced that its board of directors has approved the adoption of a shareholder rights plan designed to encourage the fair and equal treatment of shareholders in connection with any take-over bid for the company's outstanding securities.



StrikePoint Gold announced today that it has acquired a 100 per cent interest in a large, 5468 hectare gold/copper exploration property near Fredericton, NB. The Pokiok project includes 15 km linear trend along an altered fault zone between two types of granite located in the large Pokiok batholith.





Mediterranean Resources Ltd. announced today the results from five infill diamond core holes drilled over the winter at the Tac property. Highlights include high grade gold values up to 12.6 g/t over short intervals and copper values up to 4.5 per cent.





Timberline Resources Corporation announced today a substantial increase to its National Instrument 43-101 compliant gold resource estimate at its Lookout Mountain Gold Project. Gold ounces in the measured and indicated resource categories increased by 36 per cent over the 2010 resource figures, and the ounces of gold in the inferred resource category increased by 7 per cent over the 2010 inferred resource.







DDS Wireless International Inc. announced today that its transit business unit, StrataGen Systems Inc., has been awarded additional contracts to upgrade existing customers to the new ADEPT 6.1 transit scheduling platform. Two additional customers in Southern California and Illinois have also issued upgrade orders with several other existing StrataGen customers in active project discussions.
