CIBC keeps growing its global team

Even with the global economy on the rocks, CIBC World Markets continues to hire around the world.

On Friday the investment bank announced two new addtions in its London office: Paul Armstrong in the financial solutions group and Talal Dehbi in equity derivatives.

The move is part of a slew of new hires year, which included adding to the bank’s fixed-income desk in New York in the spring and hiring a head of European debt capital markets in June.

In Toronto, CIBC also recently hired a co-head of mining to partially replace Rick McCreary, who left for Barrick this spring.
