Sandvine Corp , which saw its shares rise more than 3 per cent on Wednesday, today reported a net loss of $6.5-million in the first quarter of 2012, including a $3.7-million inventory write-down related to one of the company's older hardware platforms. Sandvine also announced that it has received over $7-million in network policy control expansion orders from a tier-1 North American cable operator.

BELLUS Health Inc. , which is trading at year lows, announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership and financing with Pharmascience Inc. whereby Pharmascience will pay a total of $17.25-million to BELLUS Health, including $8.15-million in non-dilutive capital and a $9.1-million investment for a 10.4 per cent ownership stake in a new public company. The partnership will be put in place through a plan of arrangement, under which 89.6 per cent of New BELLUS will be owned by securityholders of BELLUS Health.

AeroMechanical Services Ltd. announced today that it has signed a contract with a Canadian charter airline for the Automated Flight Information Reporting System 228B on 2 Boeing 737-700 aircraft. The airline operates Canadian domestic and international charter flights for a variety of organizations and groups.





Belo Sun Mining Corp. , which closed 2 per cent lower yesterday, announced today assay results from 14 additional drill holes from the diamond drilling program at its Volta Grande Gold Project. Helio Diniz, the Vice President, Exploration for Belo Sun, stated, "It is very encouraging that the drilling continues to extend the Ouro Verde deposit with such significant intercepts."

Yangarra Resources Ltd. announced today its fourth-quarter financial results. The company said it had a net loss for the period of $2.2-million, which compares to a net loss of $183,547 in the previous year. Funds flow from operations were $5.7-million, up sharply from last year's $1.6-million.

Lake Shore Gold Corp. , which was close to year lows yesterday, announced today its operating results for the first quarter of 2012. Ore processed in the quarter amounted to 160,500 tonnes at a grade of 3.40 grams per tonne at a recovery rate of 95.1 per cent for recovered gold of 16,680 ounces.
