Canada Energy Partners (CE-X), which was down by almost 7 per cent yesterday announced today that it has acquired all of the outstanding shares of Hudson's Hope Gas Ltd., the wholly-owned subsidiary of GeoMet Inc. As a result of the acquisition, the company will effectively assume GeoMet's share of the abandonment liabilities associated with the CBM Project.

European Uranium Resources Ltd. (EUU-X), which was down by 2 per cent yesterday announced today that it has intersected double the expected grade in its first of 3 planned metallurgical drill holes at Kuriskova. This drill program is designed to collect additional metallurgical samples as part of the ongoing feasibility study on the company's flagship property, the high-grade Kuriskova uranium project in Slovakia.
