Canada Energy Partners (CE-X), which was down by almost 7 per cent yesterday announced today that it has acquired all of the outstanding shares of Hudson’s Hope Gas Ltd., the wholly-owned subsidiary of GeoMet Inc. As a result of the acquisition, the company will effectively assume GeoMet’s share of the abandonment liabilities associated with the CBM Project.
