Canadian issues that are moving on early news

Waymar Resources Ltd., which rose 6 per cent on Friday announced today the results from 4 additional diamond drill holes on its Anza property, Antioquia Department in the Republic of Colombia. The company said drilling intersected 40.5 meters grading 14.1 g/t gold at Anza.

ProMetic Life Sciences Inc. reported a net profit of $0.8-million for the second quarter of 2012 on revenues of $6.3-million. In the same period last year, the company had a net loss of $1.8-million on revenues of $3-million. PLI closed at $0.155 on Friday.

Winstar Resources Ltd. reported net earnings from continuing operations of $2.4-million, or 7 cents per share, for the second quarter of 2012. Revenues were $15.1-million. In the same period last year, net earnings were $2.3-million on revenues of $15.3-million.

Hana Mining Ltd. announced drilling results from the completion of 8 infill diamond drill holes in the Banana Zone at its Ghanzi sediment hosted Copper-Silver Project in Botswana. The company said it continues to hit high-grade copper-silver mineralization.

Aecon Group Inc. intends to release its second-quarter 2012 results on Monday after market close, and has scheduled a conference call for 10.30 am (ET) on Tuesday.

Bankers Petroleum Ltd. reported second-quarter net income of $11.253-million, or 4.4 cents per diluted share, up about 5 per cent from a year earlier. Oil revenues rose 16 per cent to $98.5-million.

Rocky Mountain Dealerships Inc., which gained 4 per cent Friday, today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.0675 per common share on Rocky's outstanding common shares. It announced second-quarter revenues were up near 9 per cent to $225.7-million; normalized diluted earnings per share were $0.26, as compared to $0.30 in 2011, generating cash flow from net earnings of $4.8-million.

Absolute Software Corporation will host a conference call on Monday at 2 pm PT (5 pm ET) to discuss its fiscal 2012 year-end and fourth-quarter financial results. A press release announcing the annual and quarterly results will be issued at 1 pm PT (4 pm ET) that same day.

Cargojet Inc. said its second-quarter revenues fell 1.7 per cent from a year earlier to $40.5-million, but EBITDA rose 36 per cent to $4.5-million. Gross margin fell 8.9 per cent. The company also declared a cash dividend of $0.142 per share for the period from July 1, 2012 to September 30, 2012.

Xinergy Ltd., which lost 2.5 per cent and dipped below $1 Friday, plans to release financial results for the second quarter 2012 after the market closes on Monday and hold a conference call to discuss those results on Tuesday at 10 am ET.
