Enbridge Income Fund Clarifies Terms Related to Its Plan of Arrangement18:58 EDT Wednesday, April 21, 2010CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - April 21, 2010) - Enbridge Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:ENF.UN) today clarified certain terms related to its Plan of Arrangement for restructuring its public ownership into a corporation, as described in the Fund's Information Circular dated March 31, 2010 (the "Circular"). Having considered a request from RiskMetrics Group, ISS Governance Services for the Fund to make a clarification regarding its post-restructuring capital structure, the Fund has confirmed that the preferred shares included in the authorized capital structure for EIFH, as defined in the Circular, are not intended to be used to block any takeover bid.With this clarification, RiskMetrics has confirmed that they will issue an updated alert whereby they will recommend voting FOR the Arrangement Resolution, as defined in the Circular, at the Fund's unitholder meeting being held on May 3, 2010.Enbridge Income Fund's trust units are listed and trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol "ENF.UN".Enbridge Income Fund is an unincorporated, open-ended trust created to provide a stable and sustainable flow of distributable cash to unitholders.
