("Superior") is confirming its previously announced cash dividend for the month of May, 2010 of $0.135 per share payable on June 15, 2010. The record date is May 31, 2010 and the ex-dividend date will be May 27, 2010. Superior's annualized cash dividend rate is currently $1.62 per share. Superior is also confirming that it has re-established its Dividend Reinvestment Program ("DRIP") effective for the payment of the May 2010 dividend. Participation in the DRIP is at the option of the shareholder.A recently issued news story published through Thompson Reuters stated that "Superior will halt paying its dividend and plans to use the proceeds to reduce debt". This news story was incorrect.
