Weyerhaeuser Announces 2010 Hours of Operation for the Forest Learning Center14:58 EDT Friday, May 07, 2010 FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (Business Wire) -- Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE:WY) today announced the hours of operation for the Charles W. Bingham Forest Learning Center at Mount St. Helens for 2010. The Forest Learning Center will open the 2010 season on Friday, May 14th and remain open daily from 10am to 4pm through May 18th, the 30th Anniversary of the Mount St. Helens eruption. Thereafter, the Forest Learning Center will be open three days a week, Friday through Sunday from 10am-4pm. The Learning Center will remain open through September 6th. The Center and its indoor exhibits will also be open to the public on Memorial Day (Monday, May31st), the Monday following Fourth of July (July 5th), and Labor Day (September 6th). In addition, the gift shop, restrooms, and Center's outdoor facilities will be open seven days a week from 10am-6pm. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) rest area hours will mirror the hours of operation for the gift shop. The hours and days that the Forest Learning Center will be open to the public in 2010 are similar to the Center's operating posture in 2009.
