DHX Media series commissioned for second-season and analyst call

HALIFAX, May 13 /CNW/ - DHX Media Ltd (TSX: "DHX"), a leading independent international producer and distributor of mainly children's television programming and interactive content is pleased to announce that YTV has commissioned a second season of thirteen episodes of its sketch comedy show That's So Weird! The second season commission follows recent sales of tween/teen-targeted That's So Weird! to Boomerang Latin America and Nickelodeon Australia.
That's So Weird! is a live action sketch comedy series with an overriding back story, sitcom elements and funny sketches. Weird TV is a forgotten television network of JamCo manufacturing conglomerate. When Alana, one of the cast, comes looking for a summer job she accidentally finds herself managing the cable network and does what all new station managers do, fire the existing team and hire her friends.
Also, DHX Media will hold a conference call for analysts to discuss its Q3 financial results on Monday, May 17th at 10:30 am EST, following the release of its financial results before the market opens.
