PulteGroup Chief Financial Officer Named CFO of the Year15:20 EDT Monday, May 24, 2010 BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (Business Wire) -- PulteGroup, Inc. (NYSE: PHM) today announced that Roger A. Cregg, executive vice president and chief financial officer, was named Public Company CFO of the Year in Crain's Detroit Business fourth annual CFO of the Year Awards. Honored as one of seven winners in various categories, Cregg receives the recognition following 2009's historic merger between Pulte Homes and Centex Corporation. He was selected by a panel of four independent judges for his “financial and corporate management problem-solving savvy and contributions to the community.” “This recognition says a lot about the strength Roger brings to the financial discipline at PulteGroup,” said Richard J. Dugas, Jr. chairman, president and CEO for PulteGroup, Inc. “Without the strong balance sheet and eye on our financial future that Roger consistently manages in his role, we would not have been in a place to merge with Centex last year. This honor is well deserved.” Cregg joined PulteGroup in 1998 as senior vice president and chief financial officer. His current responsibilities include the Company's accounting, treasury, tax, information systems, and investor relations activities. With an eye on financial strength and stability, Cregg is ultimately responsible for the strategic management of the Company's financial operations. Cregg has been on the board of directors of Comerica since 2006. He served on the board of the Detroit Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and was Chairman of the Board in 2006.
