Titan Wheel Announces Management Changes06:01 EDT Monday, July 12, 2010 QUINCY, Ill. (Business Wire) -- Titan Wheel Corporation of Illinois and Titan Wheel Corporation of Virginia (Titan Wheel), subsidiaries of Titan International, Inc. (Titan), have announced that president Ron Schildt will join the company's corporate development team. Schildt has over 45 years of experience in manufacturing and supervisory roles, and has lead Titan Wheel since 1993. “At Titan, we choose to keep our senior talent involved in the company—there's no substitute for experience,” said Titan Chairman and CEO Maurice M. Taylor Jr. David Salen has joined the company as president of Titan Wheel. In 2008, Salen founded and served as chief executive and president of TPM Inc., a designer, manufacturer and marketer of replacement drive components used in gypsum and engineered wood products industries. He also served as president and CEO and then director for the automotive aluminum wheel manufacturer UBE Automotive. Prior to UBE, Salen served as vice president and director of operations of the aluminum wheel division of Accuride Corporation, and has held various positions in the manufacturing industry since 1984. Salen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial technology from Ohio University and completed the corporate finance/accounting executive program at University of Michigan. “We are looking forward to Dave continuing to build upon the team that Ron has successfully established,” said Taylor.
