Integreon Uses Guidance Software EnCase® Technology to Deliver e-Discovery Services to Law Firms and Corporations Worldwide
Tuesday, July 13, 2010
PASADENA, Calif. (Business Wire) -- Guidance Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:GUID), the digital forensics, e-discovery and cybersecurity leader, today announced that Integreon, the largest global provider of integrated research, legal and business solutions to professionals, will use Guidance Software EnCase® eDiscovery in conjunction with Integreon's core service offerings to provide corporations and law firms world-class, e-discovery services for collection and expert analysis of electronically stored information (ESI).
Integreon, with more than 2,000 associates around the world who serve more than half of the United States' top law firms and 11 of the top 50 global brands, will use Guidance Software EnCase® eDiscovery to augment Integreon's forensic and e-discovery collections business services—addressing particular phases of the electronic discovery process, including: pre-collection analytics, identification, preservation and collection.
Without the right software and services, forensic data acquisition for regulatory response and/or litigation can be a tedious process requiring significant manpower to process each data-carrying device and PC one by one. For a global organization or ones with many remote locations and employees, this process is even more complex. Integreon, using Guidance Software EnCase eDiscovery, makes the process efficient, saves time and reduces cost by providing their clients with a remote, e-discovery service that can be done through the VPN network—effectively eliminating the need for hardware to be shipped or personnel to have to go on-site for the data collection.
“We are committed to providing our legal and corporate customers with a broad range of proven technologies backed by the deep expertise needed to ensure that evidence for litigation and regulatory response is complete, accurate and defensible,” said Jeffery C. Fehrman, vice president of forensics and consulting, Integreon. “As the trusted leader in e-discovery and forensics software, Guidance Software will enable us to support even the most stringent client and case requirements with an approach that reduces risk and lowers cost for our clients.”
“Integreon is a global leader in the legal solutions market and their discovery practice has a trusted reputation for providing clients with proven and tested solutions,” said Skip Lindsey, vice president of partners and alliances, Guidance Software. “This relationship will help Integreon deliver the most efficient and accurate e-discovery solution so that their clients can focus on their core business and rest assured that the data collected is accurate and defensible.”
Integreon is the largest and highest-impact provider of integrated research, legal and business solutions to professionals.
