Tetra Tech Awarded $75 Million Ceiling USAID Democracy and Governance Analytical Services Contract09:00 EDT Friday, August 20, 2010 PASADENA, Calif. (Business Wire) -- Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK) announced today that it has been awarded the Analytical Services Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) III, with a contract ceiling of $75 million, to provide technical assistance for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) democracy and governance program. Under this five-year contract, Tetra Tech will provide technical support to USAID headquarters and missions to inform the design and implementation of democracy and governance strategies and programs. Tetra Tech held the predecessor Analytical Services I and Analytical Services II IQCs. In support of development programs worldwide, Tetra Tech will conduct democracy and governance assessments, evaluations, and other special studies and help USAID develop strategies, design programs, create effective monitoring and evaluation plans, and conduct training. These services will ensure that USAID's strategies, programs, activities, and monitoring and evaluation plans are well-informed, based on sound analysis, and reflect best practices in the field of democracy and governance. Under its predecessor analytical services contracts, Tetra Tech successfully performed 86 task orders for democracy and governance support services in locations as diverse as Bangladesh, Tanzania, Haiti, and the West Bank and Gaza, among many other locations.
