Family Dollar Names Tim Chew VP - IT Applications Delivery and George Zeeff VP – Supply Chain Improvement09:12 EDT Tuesday, November 02, 2010 MATTHEWS, N.C. (Business Wire) -- Family Dollar Stores, Inc. (NYSE: FDO) today announced that it has named Tim Chew, VP – IT Applications Delivery and George Zeeff, VP – Supply Chain Improvement. Mr. Chew will report to Joshua Jewett, Senior Vice President - Information Technology, CIO. Mr. Zeeff will report to Charlie Gibson, Executive Vice President – Supply Chain. “Developing strong leaders and recognizing their accomplishments are essential to building great teams,” said Howard R. Levine, Chairman and CEO. “Tim and George have both made significant contributions to our business. These promotions reflect their continued commitment to our mission of being a compelling place to shop, work and invest.” Mr. Chew joined Family Dollar in 1998 as an Oracle Programmer in IT, and most recently served as Divisional Vice President for Applications Development. Prior to joining Family Dollar, Mr. Chew worked as Development Manager at InfoVision. Mr. Chew holds a B.S. in Finance from Sienna College in Latham, New York. Mr. Zeeff began his career at Family Dollar in 2008 as Divisional Vice President of Supply Chain Improvement. Prior to joining Family Dollar he served as a Senior Solutions Development Consultant at Dematic Corporation. Mr. Zeeff graduated from the University of Michigan with B.S.E. in Industrial Engineering and earned his MBA from Michigan State University.
