Vindivich Appointed Head of Casualty for Argo Group's Colony Specialty13:00 EST Wednesday, January 26, 2011 NEW YORK (Business Wire) -- Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd. (NasdaqGS: AGII) announced today that Ron Vindivich, senior vice president of Colony Specialty, has been appointed as head of its Excess and Surplus Lines (E&S) casualty division. Mr. Vindivich will be responsible for our strategy and execution in this key market space reporting to Michael Fleischer, EVP, chief underwriting officer for Colony Specialty. In addition to his new role, Vindivich also will continue to serve as head of Colony Specialty's transportation division. Lou Levinson, president of Argo Group's E&S Lines Segment, commented on the appointment: "In October of 2010 we announced the reorganization of our E&S business to meet the changing needs of our customers and take advantage of opportunities for collaboration with other Argo Group segments. His experience and leadership will be a great asset to us in his expanded role as head of the casualty division.” Bringing more than 20 years of experience with Chubb, Kemper and CNA, Mr. Vindivich joined Colony in 2006 as VP of underwriting for the industrial casualty division. In 2008 he was appointed VP of brokerage casualty, which combined Colony's existing industrial casualty, general casualty and excess casualty divisions. Mr. Vindivich holds a CPCU designation and is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
