Concho Resources Agrees to Sell Its Bakken Assets for $196 Million07:00 EST Monday, February 28, 2011 MIDLAND, Texas (Business Wire) -- Concho Resources Inc. (NYSE: CXO) (“Concho” or the “Company”) today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement with Linn Energy (NASDAQ: LINE) to sell its North Dakota Bakken assets for $196 million. The sale is expected to close by the end of the first quarter of 2011 and is subject to customary closing conditions and purchase price adjustments.
