Molson Coors Donates $50,000 to Japan Relief14:33 EDT Wednesday, March 16, 2011 DENVER (Business Wire) -- Molson Coors Brewing Company (NYSE: TAP; TSX), today announced a donation of $50,000 to the Japan relief efforts being coordinated by the International Red Cross. Bart Alexander, chief corporate responsibility officer for Molson Coors, said, “We are very grateful that all our employees in Japan are safe and accounted for. We know the current relief efforts will be followed by a long period of recovery and reconstruction, and we wanted to express our solidarity with our Japanese team with a concrete demonstration of support. In addition to our corporate donation, we have worked with the Red Cross to set up a microsite that will make it easier for Molson Coors employees to donate individually as well. We hope these efforts, in conjunction with those of other companies, will facilitate a faster recovery in Japan.” Molson Coors has had a dedicated sales and marketing organization in Japan since 1992.
