Family Dollar Names Brad Rogers Vice President – Real Estate Development10:41 EDT Monday, April 18, 2011 MATTHEWS, N.C. (Business Wire) -- Family Dollar Stores, Inc. (NYSE: FDO) today announced that it has named Brad Rogers to the position of Vice President – Real Estate Development. Mr. Rogers will report to Keith Gehl, Senior Vice President – Real Estate and Facilities. “Accelerating new store growth is a key element of our strategic agenda,” said Mr. Gehl. “Through Brad's leadership we will continue our aggressive growth in both new and existing markets to provide budget-conscious customers with a compelling shopping experience in more areas of the country.” Mr. Rogers began his career at Family Dollar in 1998 as Real Estate Manager. Since joining the Company, he has held additional roles in the real estate division, most recently serving as Regional Vice President of the real estate portfolio and new stores. Mr. Rogers has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Millsaps College and a law degree from Emory University.
