Morgan Keegan Investment Banking Adds Greg Ladeveze to Energy Group10:51 EDT Wednesday, May 11, 2011 MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Business Wire) -- Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. announced that Gregory Ladeveze has joined the firm's Energy Investment Banking group as a vice president in its Houston office. Prior to joining Morgan Keegan, Ladeveze was an investment banker with Bank of America Merrill Lynch. “Greg has established himself as a talented and well-respected investment banker,” said Rob Baird, executive managing director and president of Morgan Keegan Investment Banking. “His experience serving clients within the energy sector will be a great benefit to our veteran team of bankers as we look to expand our energy practice.” Ladeveze spent three and a half years with Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Global Energy and Power Investment Banking Group, where he executed mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and financing transactions totaling more than $7 billion. Prior to starting his career in investment banking, Ladeveze served five years in the United States Army as a field artillery officer. In February 2003, he was deployed to Iraq and served a year-long combat tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Ladeveze received his master's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. The addition of Ladeveze strengthens an energy practice that already enjoys extensive coverage by Morgan Keegan's equity research group.
