Albemarle® to Increase Price of Metal Alkyls16:05 EDT Thursday, June 02, 2011BATON ROUGE, La., June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Albemarle Corporation (NYSE: ALB), a global leader in the production of organometallic compounds used in the polyolefin, chemical synthesis, and electronics industries, announced today that it will increase global prices of the neat portion of its metal alkyl products by 15% effective July 1, 2011, or as contracts allow.  Prices for solvent blends of metal alkyls will also be increased as needed.
