MULLEN GROUP LTD. CLOSES ACQUISITION OF HI-WAY 9 GROUP OF COMPANIES12:00 EDT Thursday, June 02, 2011OKOTOKS, AB, June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - (TSX: MTL) Mullen Group Ltd. ("Mullen Group" and/or the "Corporation") announced the closing of the previously announced acquisition of Hi-Way 9 Express Ltd., Load-Way Ltd., Streamline Logistics Inc. and 1006213 Alberta Ltd. (collectively, "Hi-Way 9") in a cash and shares transaction effective June 1, 2011. Hi-Way 9 has been in business since 1969 and is a recognized leader in Alberta in the less-than-truckload transportation business. The companies will operate as wholly-owned subsidiaries of Mullen Group.
