PETROWEST ENERGY SERVICES TRUST PROVIDES GUIDANCE REGARDING CANADIAN POSTAL DISRUPTION18:34 EDT Thursday, June 23, 2011CALGARY, June 23, 2011 /CNW/ - An annual and general meeting of holders of priority units (the "Trust Units") and subordinated units (the "Subordinated Units" and together with the Trust Units, the "Units") of Petrowest Energy Services Trust ("Petrowest") will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. (Calgary Time) in the Bennett Boardroom at the offices of Bennett Jones LLP, 4500, 855 -2nd Street S.W., Calgary, Alberta to consider and vote upon, among other things, a proposed arrangement, pursuant to Section 193 of the Business Corporations Act (Alberta), involving Petrowest, Petrowest Energy Services Business Trust, Petrowest Civil Services LP, Petrowest Construction LP, Petrowest Services Rentals LP, Petrowest Transportation LP, Petrowest Energy Services General Partner Ltd., Petrowest Energy Services Trustee Ltd., Petrowest Corporation and the holders ("Unitholders") of Units (the "Arrangement"), which will result in the reorganization of the Petrowest's income trust structure into a publicly-traded corporation.The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has commenced a strike which may disrupt postal services and delay the delivery of the management information circular dated May 30, 2011, forms of proxy and letters of transmittal of Petrowest (collectively, the "Meeting Materials").  Accordingly, Unitholders are reminded that the Meeting Materials may be obtained electronically on SEDAR at www.sedar.com or in accordance with the procedures set out below.Beneficial Unitholders (Unitholders whose Units are held in an account with a broker or other intermediary) who do not receive their Meeting Materials must contact their broker, nominee or other intermediary who should be able to provide the Unitholder with a control number to permit the Unitholder to vote via the internet at www.proxyvote.com and to arrange for delivery of the Meeting Materials by electronic mail or otherwise.Registered Unitholders who do not receive their Meeting Materials by mail may contact Valiant Trust Company ("Valiant") by phone at 1-866-313-1872 or by email at inquiries@valiant.com to obtain the information required to transmit their voting instructions via the internet at www.valianttrust.com and to arrange for delivery of the Meeting Materials by electronic mail.Petrowest also recommends that Unitholders deliver the certificates representing their Units and the applicable letter(s) of transmittal by hand to Valiant and obtain a receipt therefor or by courier (other than Canada Post) and obtain appropriate insurance therefor.
