EVault “Nice Save” Video and Essay Contest Launches for Customers and Partners08:00 EDT Wednesday, July 20, 2011 SANTA CLARA, Calif. (Business Wire) -- i365 Inc., A Seagate Company (NASDAQ:STX), today announced the EVault® “Nice Save” video and essay contest for EVault customers and partners based in the U.S., UK and Canada. The “Nice Save” contest invites entrants to submit short videos and/or essays that describe their company's dramatic data recovery story, highlighting the heroes who used EVault technology to save the day. Entries will be judged by popular vote. i365 is accepting entries July 20, 2011 through September 14, 2011. Customers and partners can upload videos and submit essay entries at “We know our customers have experienced natural disasters, catastrophic events, and site outages that have put their company's data at risk. We often hear about the bad news when disaster strikes, but rarely applaud the heroic actions that avert it,” said Valerie Fawzi, vice president of worldwide marketing at i365. “The “Nice Save” contest gives us the opportunity to hear our customers' stories of how they recovered their databases, applications, and servers with EVault technology. It also provides entrants the opportunity to win cash prizes, garner great exposure for all participating companies, and showcase the value of their IT department personnel. We also expect this contest will create a valuable forum where peers can learn how other companies are using EVault technology.” Video entries can take the form of documentary, interview, action film or any appropriate genre the contestant envisions, but file size cannot exceed 100 MB. Accepted formats include: AVI, MOV, WMV, MP4, MPEG, FLV, 3GP, and 3G2. Essay entries have no length requirement. Both forms of entries must include the industry, the EVault product(s) used, and the name and title of the person responsible for the “Nice Save”. Detailed rules will be available the day the contest opens at: Entries will be judged through online voting, with winners chosen based on popularity. Voting is open to the public and runs from September 15, 2011 to October 14, 2011. A total of three winners will be chosen for essay submissions and three for video submissions. The grand prize winner will receive a trip to the San Francisco Bay Area for two, which will include round trip airfare, a hotel for two nights, transportation, dinner with the i365 executive team, and $500 in cash. The first place winners will receive $500, second place winners will receive $250, and the third place winners will receive $100. Winners will be awarded in late October, will be featured on i365's website and have their “Nice Save” published in an article in the i365 newsletter and blog.
