OfficeMax Names Steve Parsons Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer09:00 EDT Thursday, July 21, 2011NAPERVILLE, Ill., July 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- OfficeMax Incorporated (NYSE: OMX) today announced that Steve Parsons has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective July 25, 2011.  In this position, Mr. Parsons will report to Ravi Saligram, president and CEO of OfficeMax, and will be responsible for all aspects of global human resources for the company, including talent management, compensation and benefits, training, leadership development, recruitment, diversity, and internal and corporate communications."Steve is an excellent human resources leader with a proven track record for attracting world class talent," said Mr. Saligram.  "And, he will make significant contributions in taking our people and process capabilities to the next level."Mr. Parsons has a rich background in human resource management for consumer products and retail companies.
