Kurt Pfotenhauer Named Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman of First American Title Insurance Company11:38 EDT Monday, July 25, 2011SANTA ANA, Calif., July 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- First American Title Insurance Company today announced that that Kurt Pfotenhauer has joined the company as executive vice president and vice chairman.In this role, Pfotenhauer will maintain executive-level relationships with the nation's largest money center banks and assist with political and legislative relations for the corporation. Pfotenhauer brings to First American more than 26 years of political and financial services industry experience, most recently as chief executive officer of the American Land Title Association (ALTA). During his tenure with ALTA, the Washington, D.C.-based national trade association for the title and real estate settlement services industry, Pfotenhauer worked with the title industry's most senior contacts within the White House, U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.
