New Alberta legislation makes using handheld devices illegal
RICHMOND HILL, ON, Aug. 26, 2011 /CNW/ - Some habits die hard, but Alberta drivers will have to switch to a hands-free system of cell-phone usage or be penalized, as of September 1, and Staples has everything the busy commuter needs to be hands-free.
Staples even carries GPS units, Bluetooth earpieces, and more. "Safety is important, and technology plays such a big part," says Pete Gibel, vice-president of merchandising for Staples Canada. "All drivers should realize that concentrating on anything other than driving puts themselves, their passengers and fellow drivers in serious danger."
