Lexington Sings "Viva Las Vegas"07:00 EDT Thursday, September 01, 2011LEXINGTON, Ky., Sept. 1, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Allegiant (Nasdaq:ALGT) announces new, nonstop jet service between Lexington, Ky., and Las Vegas, Nev., will begin Nov. 16. The company, known for its exceptional travel deals, will introduce the new service to Central Kentucky residents with fares as low as $104.98* one way. The new flights will operate twice weekly between Blue Grass Airport (LEX) and McCarran International Airport (LAS), with service Wednesday and Saturday. Flights will depart Lexington at 3:45 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 5:00 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 8:00 a.m. arriving in Lexington at 2:30 p.m. (all flight times are local). The carrier will utilize a full-size, 217-seat Boeing 757-200 jet aircraft on the route. With world-renowned resorts, spas, casinos and entertainment options for visitors of all ages, Las Vegas is one of the most dynamic travel destinations in the world. With an average of more than 37 million people visiting each year, the vast majority of these visitors come to experience the Las Vegas Strip.
