Herbalife Family Foundation Provides Grant to Help Bring Good Nutrition to Children in Beijing13:00 EDT Tuesday, September 06, 2011 LOS ANGELES (Business Wire) -- The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF), a non-profit organization that helps bring good nutrition to children at risk, gave a grant to the SOS Children's Village in Beijing to help the organization provide good nutrition to the children in its care. The grant will establish a Casa Herbalife program to enhance the charity's annual food budget so they offer more nutritious meals, and provide funds for improving and updating the organization's kitchen facilities. SOS Children's Village Beijing is a social welfare institution that adopts orphans and children whose parents are not able to raise them. However, the Village has limited resources and requires assistance to sustain a good living standard and meet the varying needs of children of different ages. After an initial grant from HFF, local Herbalife sales employees in China and staff will support the program through volunteerism and fundraising. This is the second Casa Herbalife program in China and the 66th Casa Herbalife program worldwide. In 2009, HFF established a Casa Herbalife program at SOS Children's Village in Chengdu that benefits about 170 orphans from Southwest China, many of whom lost their guardians in the devastating quake that year. HFF is a 501©(3), non-profit corporation dedicated to improving children's lives by helping organizations provide healthy nutrition to children at risk. Additionally, HFF often supports relief efforts in response to natural disasters. About Herbalife Herbalife Ltd.
