("Finavera" or the "Company") (TSX-V: FVR) is pleased to announce the completion of its 2011 Annual General Meeting ("AGM"). Shareholders re-appointed Hein Poulus (Chairman), Jason Bak (CEO), Ian Harvey, Olga Ilich, and David Lamont to the Board of Directors. All of the proposed resolutions were passed at the AGM including the approval of the Company's rolling stock option plan.Finavera Wind Energy CEO Jason Bak said, "Finavera has reached several significant milestones this year and we anticipate an exciting year ahead. We continue to work on finalizing financing and turbine supply agreements and environmental applications for our Tumbler Ridge and Wildmare projects.
