Primus Canada's Data Centre Services won the contract for its ability to allow AIMCo to continue to manage, own, and operate its computing infrastructure within Edmonton's city centre while also facilitating computing infrastructure growth as required by the business."As one of the largest data centre solutions providers in Canada, we are pleased to support AIMCo in providing a facility that will deliver the security, reliability, and scalability that businesses today demand for their mission critical computing infrastructure," said Jeff Lorenz, Primus Canada Vice President, Sales and Marketing."AIMCo was looking for a partner that could meet our requirements both today and for the foreseeable future," said Sameer Verma, AIMCo Vice President New Operations Initiative. "Our business is growing, and with that we need to scale our computing and network infrastructure. Primus clearly demonstrates that as our business partner, they have the expertise and the willingness to work with us to provide the best solution," added Verma. AIMCo is one of Canada's largest institutional investment managers and is responsible for the management of assets with a value of approximately $68 billion CAD.
