Las Vegas Can Now Play-A-Round in Phoenix-Mesa!10:00 EDT Monday, September 26, 2011LAS VEGAS, Sept. 26, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Allegiant (Nasdaq:ALGT) announces new, nonstop jet service between Las Vegas, Nev., and Mesa, Ariz., will begin Nov. 17. The company, known for its exceptional travel deals, will introduce the new service to Las Vegas residents with fares as low as $29.99* one way. "We are excited to offer new service between the Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport and Las Vegas," Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant President, said. "The Phoenix Mesa community has long been asking for this service and we answered with low fares and great deals on hotels, car rentals and show tickets." "Just as Las Vegans can enjoy this new service, we're thrilled that Allegiant is giving Mesa residents another option for accessing one of the world's most exciting travel destinations." The new flights will operate six times weekly between McCarran International Airport (LAS) and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA), with service Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. On Mondays, flights will depart Las Vegas at 2:15 p.m. arriving in Mesa at 4:25 p.m. Flights leaving Mesa will depart at 1:25 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 1:35 p.m. On Thursdays, flights will depart Las Vegas at 2:50 p.m. arriving in Mesa at 5:00 p.m. Flights leaving Mesa will depart at 2:00 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 2:10 p.m. On Fridays and Sundays, there will be two flights. The first flight will depart Las Vegas at 3:40 p.m. arriving in Mesa at 5:50 p.m. Flights leaving Mesa will depart at 2:50 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 3:00 p.m. The second flight will depart Las Vegas at 7:20 p.m. arriving in Mesa at 9:30 p.m. Flights leaving Mesa will depart at 6:30 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 6:40 p.m. (all flight times are local). The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route.
