Domenic Pilla Appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Shoppers Drug Mart Corporation16:30 EDT Monday, October 03, 2011TORONTO, Oct. 3, 2011 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors of Shoppers Drug Mart Corporation today announced that Domenic Pilla has been appointed President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the Company effective November 1, 2011.Mr. Pilla brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience in the health care and retailing sectors, most recently as President of McKesson Canada, the Canadian unit of McKesson Corporation, a leading Fortune 500 health care services and technology company.Holger Kluge, Chairman of Shoppers Drug Mart, said, "We are delighted that Domenic is joining us.
