Stockton Tees Up for Relaxation in California's Desert Oasis12:01 EDT Friday, October 28, 2011STOCKTON, Calif., Oct. 28, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Allegiant (Nasdaq:ALGT), today inaugurates low-cost, nonstop travel service between Stockton, Calif., and Palm Springs, Calif. To celebrate, the company is offering a special $39.99* one-way fare and is awarding free flight to two travelers who arrive at the Stockton Airport with their bags packed. "Allegiant began serving Stockton in 2006 with flights to Las Vegas and we are now excited to be offering even more travel value to the community with new service to Palm Springs." The new flights operate two times weekly between Stockton Metropolitan Airport (SCK) and Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) with service Monday and Friday. On Mondays, flights will depart Stockton at 10:15 a.m. arriving in Palm Springs at 11:30 a.m. Flights leaving Palm Springs will depart at 12:15 p.m. arriving in Stockton at 1:35 p.m.. On Fridays, flights will depart Stockton at 4:10 p.m. arriving in Palm Springs at 5:25 p.m. Flights leaving Palm Springs will depart at 6:10 p.m. arriving in Stockton at 7:30 p.m. (all flight times are local). The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. Allegiant began low-cost, nonstop service to Las Vegas from Stockton on June 16, 2006. Allegiant's $39.99* one-way fare is limited, must be purchased by Nov. 11, 2011 and is valid for travel through May 14, 2012.
