Exchange Income Corporation Appoints New Independent Director22:07 EST Thursday, November 10, 2011WINNIPEG, Nov. 10, 2011 /CNW/ - Exchange Income Corporation (TSX:  EIF) (the "Corporation"), announced the appointment of Ms. Serena Kraayeveld,  B.Comm (Hons), FCA, ICD.D,  as an independent director of the company effective today."We are very fortunate that Serena has joined our board of directors given her strong business acumen and experience with large business transactions," said Gary Filmon, Chairman of Exchange Income Corporation.  "Serena's appointment will enable Exchange to benefit from her knowledge and experience, especially in matters of governance, taxation, and corporate transactions, and in the further the development of our corporate strategy."Ms. Kraayeveld was previously the managing partner of the Winnipeg office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and prior to that was the partner in charge of the Winnipeg tax group. In those capacities, she had extensive experience in providing tax and business advisory services to both public and private clients in a broad range of industries.Ms. Kraayeveld is currently a director of CAA Manitoba and Niakwa Country Club. She previously served as a council member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba and was a governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
