SkyWest, inc., Reports Combined October 2011 Traffic for SkyWest Airlines, Atlantic Southeast Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines15:31 EST Thursday, November 10, 2011ST. GEORGE, Utah, Nov. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW) ("SkyWest") reported a 44.0 percent increase in departures to 115,990 for October compared to 80,530 for the same period last year. Passenger boardings for October increased 44.6 percent to 4,782,142 compared to 3,306,720 for the same period last year.  SkyWest also reported a 51.7 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for October, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 49.4 percent compared to October 2010.  The combined airlines generated 2.49 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 3.09 billion. Load factor was 80.6 percent compared to 79.4 percent, up 1.2 percentage points compared to October 2010.    The substantial increases for each of the items are due primarily to the acquisition of ExpressJet Airlines on November 12, 2010.About SkyWestSkyWest is the holding company for three scheduled passenger airline operations and an aircraft leasing company and is headquartered in St. George, Utah.
