CyrusOne to Discuss Control in Data Center Consolidation at Datacenter Dynamics Conference09:26 EST Friday, November 18, 2011 HOUSTON (Business Wire) -- CyrusOne, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cincinnati Bell (NYSE: CBB) and preeminent enterprise data center colocation solutions provider, announced it will be speaking at and attending the 2011 Datacenter Dynamics Conference in London, Nov. 30 through Dec 1. Peter Patsalides, CyrusOne's London managing director, will present from 12:50 to 13:30 on the first day of the conference, Nov. 30. Patsalides plans to focus his formal remarks on “Achieving Greater Control in Data Center Consolidation Strategies.” The CyrusOne booth is located at booth number 2. CyrusOne recently added a London facility to its global footprint—subletting 10,000-square-feet of space—lowering latency in IT platforms for its customers' operations abroad and enhancing business continuity through mirrored data centers in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Also, the company has first rights of refusal on 10,000-square-feet of additional space at the site. London customers will benefit from a 100 percent guaranteed SLA on uninterrupted power, cooling, and power architectures designed with N+1 and 2N parallel redundancies, 24x7x365 around-the-clock security, and a fire detection and suppression system. “There's a shift occurring in how companies approach their data center strategy, and we want to help them navigate these changes successfully,” said Peter Patsalides, London managing director, CyrusOne. “Increasing demands for efficiency, managed costs, and enabling technologies have made consolidating assets a clear path for the future.” The addition of the London facility is a portion of CyrusOne's overall data center strategy to meet the worldwide requirements of its multinational customers. It currently has 19 facilities globally. About CyrusOne CyrusOne specializes in enterprise data center colocation, offering the highest power redundancy (2N architecture) and highest power-density infrastructure, supporting 250-plus watts per square foot across the entire data center floor. Headquartered in Houston and with 19 facilities across the United States and London, CyrusOne is renowned for exemplary customer service. The company's customers include 15 of the top global 100 companies and five of the top 10. CyrusOne is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cincinnati Bell (NYSE: CBB).
