New US Airways Magazine Takes to the Skies11:14 EST Thursday, December 01, 2011 TEMPE, Ariz. (Business Wire) -- The first redesigned issue of US Airways' (NYSE: LCC) in-flight magazine hits seatback pockets today, sporting a fresh new look and presenting readers with stories about the airline, its employees and the people who fly it. US Airways Magazine will also include a collection of fresh features and stories about US Airways and Star Alliance destinations, destinations' hottest restaurants and must-see places, and travel gadgets. Highlights of the revamped magazine include behind-the-scenes features that give customers a vantage point into US Airways that they've never seen before. Each month, US Airways will give customers a look into the airline's operation with sections like “Did You Know” and “Making it Happen,” which explain some of the inner workings of the airline and illustrate how the airline functions to provide them with a high level of service, while remaining one of the safest in the business. “US Airways Magazine enables us to reach our 80 million customers who board a US Airways flight during the year,” said John McDonald, US Airways' vice president of corporate communications. “We want to provide our customers with a publication that is interesting, relatable and bold to tell the story of travel, our airline and our employees.” Greensboro, N.C.-based Pace Communications produced the new US Airways Magazine.
