LOUIS, Feb. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 75,000 non-perishable food items were collected nationwide from customers and employees during Charter's annual Movies for Food campaign. "Food pantries provide a valuable service in our communities; not only during the holidays, but year-round as well." The campaign included an opportunity for participants to receive Charter On Demand movie coupons for multiple food item donations, as well as prizes via Charter's online site. "We were thrilled with the participation this year from both Charter employees and customers, as the amount of food collected more than doubled last year's total," Ms. Moehle said.Charter also recently concluded its successful On Demand Soldier Greetings offering, providing holiday video greetings from local U.S. military personnel stationed overseas on demand to Charter customers in each state from which the soldiers hail.
