With more than 15 years of network and IP experience, he has worked with various layers of the network, including Cisco, Juniper, Lucent, Nortel, Force 10, and Brocade. “Bill's experience with the carrier backbone and exchange point network design and implementation from various perspectives, including engineering, project team leadership, and subject matter expertise, and his extensive vendor relationship management experience, makes him an ideal addition to the CyrusOne team,” said Gary Wojtaszek, president, CyrusOne. “He will play an integral part in our interconnection expansion, our continued exceptional customer service, and the future growth of our business.” Williams most recently served as vice president of IP infrastructure for Terremark Worldwide, where he was responsible for the global IP network infrastructure teams, including IP transit, peering, and hosting/cloud/data center platforms. He was also an IP architect for Terremark for nine years.
