Deutsche Bank Significantly Expands Equity Capital Markets Platform in the Americas09:15 EDT Monday, March 12, 2012 NEW YORK (Business Wire) -- Deutsche Bank today announced that Jeffrey Bunzel will join the firm's Equity Capital Markets group as a Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets for the Americas. He will be based in New York, reporting to Mark Hantho, Global Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets. Bunzel will also become a member of the Bank's Corporate and Investment Banking Americas Executive Committee. Bunzel will join Deutsche Bank in September following an 18-year career at Credit Suisse, where he most recently served as Head of Equity Capital Markets for the Americas and Co-Head of the Americas Global Markets Solutions Group. “The equity capital markets are of critical importance to the Bank as we continue to grow our capabilities in the Americas,” said Hantho. “Jeff brings a wealth of experience to the platform, and we're confident that his expertise will further enhance our growth in this key market.” “We're delighted to have an executive of Jeff's caliber join our ECM franchise,” said Jacques Brand, Global Co-Head of Investment Banking Coverage and Advisory. “His extensive relationships and depth of industry knowledge will help us continue the strong momentum we have built in equity capital markets and investment banking.” Bunzel earned a BA from the University of California, Berkeley and his Master's Degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
