Zebra Technologies Highlights Safety and Security Applications at ISC West, March 28-3008:00 EDT Wednesday, March 28, 2012 LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. (Business Wire) -- Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a recognized global leader in technologies that extend real-time visibility into operations, has announced its participation in the international security conference and expo, ISC West, March 28-30, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV. As a leader in safety and security applications, Zebra plans to showcase the latest in card and real time locating systems (RTLS) technology. Zebra's card printers, RTLS, software solutions and application partners, provide the government sector and a wide array of other industries with cost effective ways to manage assets, ensure public safety and provide secure IDs and access control. “Protecting the safety and security of people and assets is no longer just a necessary task but becoming a true mission critical component of today's business environment,” said Dave Coons, VP of card engineering, Zebra Technologies. “Zebra brings together its expertise and breadth of product and solution offerings with its global partner and ISV networks to deliver on each customer's needs.” As part of its demos at ISC West, Zebra will showcase its latest solution being offered with recently announced ISV partner, Jolly Technologies, a secure identification software provider. The relationship combine Jolly's software with Zebra's printers to produce low cost UHF labels and cards that identify people and manage assets with greater range and increased reliability. “Access control is necessary to protect facilities. Theft protection is needed for assets within those facilities. And in some harsher working environments, people need both protection and safety in the event of an emergency,” said Coons. “Now through our relationship with Jolly Technologies, we can provide our customers with a range of new solutions.” In addition to spotlighting its solutions with Jolly Technologies at the show, Zebra will also preview a new print management solution designed to work with its card printers. This solution will provide enterprises with a feature to manage multiple network card printers from a centralized interface, reducing costs and enabling high volume scalable card printing from desktop card printers. It will also provide a template-based printing capability to integrate personalized card printing into existing applications dramatically reducing the time and effort to integrate on-demand instant issuance cards into enterprise systems. The solution will be available in late 2012. Zebra will be at booth #13113 at ISC West at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas March 28-30.
