Resolute Energy Corporation Announces Closing Of $250 Million Offering Of Senior Notes Due 202017:00 EDT Wednesday, April 25, 2012DENVER, April 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Resolute Energy Corporation ("Resolute" or the "Company") (NYSE: REN) announced today the closing of its private placement of $250 million in aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2020 ("Senior Notes").  The Senior Notes bear interest at a rate of 8.50% per annum and were issued at par.  The Senior Notes are general unsecured senior obligations of the Company and guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by the Company's existing subsidiaries.The net proceeds of the offering, after deducting initial purchaser discounts and commissions, were approximately $243.7 million.  Resolute intends to use the net proceeds from the Senior Notes offering to repay indebtedness under its revolving credit facility, which matures in April 2017, and the remainder for general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures.
