Husky Energy to Unveil Lloydminster Heavy Oil Initiatives14:00 EDT Thursday, May 10, 2012CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 10, 2012) - Husky Energy (TSX:HSE) will unveil three new initiatives supporting the continued development of its heavy oil resources in the Lloydminster region on Thursday, May 17.The initiatives include the grand opening of Husky Place, a new central office facility for the Company's nearly 300 employees involved in the production and development of heavy oil. Husky has been a leading producer of heavy oil in the Lloydminster area for 65 years and the investment in Husky Place signifies the Company's continued confidence in the business.Husky will also announce a significant community donation that is aimed at fostering the development of heavy oil skills and expertise.Thirdly, the Company will unveil its new carbon dioxide (CO2) capture and liquefaction facility.
