Frontier's Denver-Great Falls Service Ready to Fly10:00 EDT Monday, May 14, 2012 DENVER (Business Wire) -- Frontier Airlines brings its low-fare, customer-friendly service to Great Falls, Mont., today with the launch of nonstop seasonal service between Denver International Airport (DEN) and Great Falls International Airport (GTF). The service, which operates four times weekly, runs through Sept. 30, 2012. Representatives from Frontier and Great Falls, including Mayor Michael Winters, will celebrate the launch of the new service with a gate party and ribbon-cutting ceremony at the airport Monday morning. The first flight from Denver will be welcomed with a water cannon salute provided by the Montana Air National Guard. “Community response to our new service has been excellent,” said David Siegel, president and chief executive officer of Frontier. “Clearly, travelers appreciate that we offer the best fares to Denver and the East.” Frontier is the only low-cost airline flying between Denver and Great Falls. Frontier's low-cost flights are a fantastic addition to our local flight options. With the expansive growth that the Great Falls Airport has experienced in the past two years, these additional Frontier flights are very important to the local economy and we are confident that all of our flights will remain full throughout the summer.” Flights will operate on 99-seat Embraer 190 aircraft, featuring onboard Wi-Fi and two-by-two leather seats. Four rows of STRETCH seating, with an additional 5 to 7 inches of legroom, and the airline's new SELECT seating product are available on every flight.
