They also supported more than 300 local events and volunteered nearly 10,000 hours of their time.Each month nearly 900,000 Canadians rely on food banks - and thanks to the campaign over 100 food banks from coast to coast have seen their shelves stocked with necessary supplies for those in need."All across the country, we've been inspired by the people who have gone to extraordinary lengths to help others in need," said Brad Shaw, Chief Executive Officer, Shaw Communications Inc.
