METRO appoints its new Senior Vice-president and Chief Financial Officer09:33 EDT Friday, June 22, 2012MONTREAL, June 22, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - METRO INC. (TSX: MRU) announced today the appointment of François Thibault, CFA as Senior Vice-president and Chief Financial Officer. The appointment is effective August 1, 2012.Mr. Thibault will lead all of the Company's financial management and reporting functions, as well as treasury and investor relations, legal affairs, strategic planning and corporate development.Since 1999, Mr. Thibault has held various strategic positions with Bombardier and he was Vice-president, Finance of Bombardier Aerospace since 2009. Prior to 1999, Mr. Thibault held senior financial positions with large companies in the printing and telecommunications industries.Mr. Thibault holds a Master of Science (Finance and International Business) from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Université de Sherbrooke."I am very pleased to welcome François to the Metro executive team.
