Changed Number of Shares and Votes in SEMAFO

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - June 29, 2012) - SEMAFO (TSX:SMF)(OMX:SMF)

As a result of the exercise of options, the total number of shares and votes in the Corporation has changed during June as follows.

The number of shares has increased by 20,000 common shares and the total number of shares in the Corporation as of June 29, 2012 amounts to 273,171,185 common shares. The total number of votes in the Corporation has increased by 20,000 and amounts to 273,171,185. The Corporation's share capital as of June 29, 2012 amounts to approximately SEK 9,050,161,359.
