City of Bones is the first of six novels in the Mortal Instruments series. The sixth and last installment entitled City of Heavenly Fire will be released in March of 2014. Each book follows Clary Fray's journey into the mysterious world of demon hunters as she seeks to defeat the evils that threaten her life.
