Frontier Airlines Raising Funds for Colorado Wildfire Victims12:00 EDT Monday, July 02, 2012 DENVER (Business Wire) -- Frontier Airlines today announced it will donate a portion of its buy-on-board sales to help people affected by the Colorado Wildfires. Throughout the month of July, Frontier Airlines is helping people affected by the Colorado Wildfires by donating 10 cents for every $1 spent on-board for food and beverage items to American Red Cross Disaster Relief. This gift will enable the Red Cross to prepare for and provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance in response to the disaster. “Our community has endured so much as a result of these devastating wildfires and we've been working to find as many ways to help as possible,” said David Siegel, Frontier's President and CEO. “In addition to this donation from on-board sales, our employees are engaged in an internal donation drive to collect as many of the needed items as possible to support those hurting in our community.” Frontier's inflight catering menu features items ranging from $1 snacks to premium half bottles of wine for $14. A portion of all sales will be donated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief. Monetary donations to the American Red Cross can also be made on the airline's website at FrontierAirlines.com.
